Global TV foundry shipment ranking in June and first half of 2018

According to Qunzhi Consulting data, in June 2018, the world's 13 largest TV OEMs shipped 7.37 million units, a year-on-year increase of 22.3%, a decrease of 5.7%. The June OEM pattern has changed significantly from the previous months. Considering that the inventory of the entire foundry market was at a low water level at the end of June, Qunzhi Consulting predicted that on the one hand, the price expectations of customers based on lower panel prices On the other hand, the foundry is forced to take orders with the rise in panel prices and the short-term shortage of resources. In the third quarter, the OEM market will have a difficult situation in which customer demand and price balance are difficult to maintain.

 

The rankings of global TV foundries in June 2018 are as follows:

 

Foxconn (FOXCONN) shipments reached 1.4 million units, ranking first in shipments, up 7.7% year-on-year. From the OEM brand, Sony's shipments increased sharply in June; in terms of size, the large size increased significantly.

 

TCL SCBC shipped 1.1 million units, ranking second, up 83.3% year-on-year. In addition to Latin America in June, TCL SCBC's shipments in other regions are very strong, especially in North America, Southeast Asia and India. The shipment of millet is maintained at around 30%.

 

TPV shipped 870,000 units, ranking third, down 19.5% year-on-year. The end of the World Cup stocking, the shipment of the Philips brand in Europe and Latin America began to weaken, making TPV shipments decline.

 

Huike (HKC) shipped 720,000 units, ranking fourth, up 113% year-on-year. Huike takes advantage of panel resources and actively orders in the market, mainly based on small size below 32 inches, but the shipment momentum is very fast.

 

China New Technology (CNC) shipments reached 700,000, ranking fifth, up 12.9% year-on-year. Sino-Singapore's shipments in Latin America increased sharply in June, while actively adjusting large-size shipments in product structure, responding to the dilemma of small-size panel prices rising from July to August.

 

BOE GT (BOE VT) shipped 690,000 units, ranking sixth, up 10.2% year-on-year. Shipments of high-creation brand customers weakened, and overseas shipments in June fell by 4% from the previous month. Except for Middle East Africa and Eastern Europe, shipments in other regions declined.

 

Other TV OEMs, from the group's "Global TV OEMs monthly shipment analysis report" data show that KTC (CTC) shipped 530,000 units in June, an increase of 43.2%; Zhaochi (AMTC) June Shipped 450,000 units, up 50% year-on-year; ColorLast (ExpressLUCK) shipped 330,000 units in June, up 43.5% year-on-year; in June, Amtran shipped 250,000 units, up 25% year-on-year.
